About us
Victory Majors Investments Corporation is a family-based company with investments across Canada and this role focuses on 90 tenants across 17 buildings in Saskatoon. We are a small, talented office with a great atmosphere. We are long-term owners, holding assets that support a wide range of Saskatoon’s entrepreneurs and we plan to grow our Saskatoon property portfolio in 2027.
What you'll own
• Growth: Bring on new properties onto our systems smoothly, with the tenant roll, leases and vendor contracts in place within your first 90 days, and help onboard the team that comes with them.
• Recoveries and reporting: Issue CAM and property tax reconciliations on time and in a form you can defend, and hand off cleanly each month to our two accountants.
• Tenant relationships: Work renewals 9-12 months ahead, so tenants know who to call and get a response the same day.
• Maintenance leadership: Help to lead and support our 3-person maintenance crew by setting clear priorities, building a preventive-maintenance plan and giving them a voice at budget time, with well-documented capital requests.
• Systems and improvement: Work with our team on AI tools and process improvements and leave the role better documented than you found it.
What you bring
- A strong sense of ownership: you take on a problem and see it through, and you bring options along with the problem
- A calm, steady and warm manner, because tenants and our crew feel the property manager's mood first
- Experience working in a small team, and a record of solving problems with customers (tenants) and suppliers (vendors and trades)
- Clear, confident written communication with tenants, vendors and executives
- Curiosity about new tools, including AI
- Commercial property experience (retail, office or industrial) is a strong asset, particularly reading leases, working with recoveries and operating budgets, and coordinating trades
Technical skills can be learned. For the right person with an aptitude to learn, we will train you into the role, so if you are keen but your experience is not a perfect match, we would like to hear from you.
