The Opportunity
KL Eng is seeking an Intermediate Structural Engineer / Project Manager to join our growing team. This role is for a technically strong engineer who wants to start running projects, not just designing them. You will design steel and concrete structures for potash, uranium, and ag-industrial facilities and manage your own small and mid-sized projects from proposal to construction, with direct coaching from the founder on scope, schedule, budget, and client communication.
You will work in a fast-paced, high-trust environment and gain project management experience much earlier than you would at a larger firm. This role is ideal for an ambitious structural engineer who learns quickly, takes ownership, and wants to grow into a senior engineer and project manager. We encourage the use of safe AI tools and automation applied to real engineering work, including calculations, documentation, and project tracking.
If this opportunity interests you, please send your cover letter, resume, transcript, and optional design portfolio on Linkedin or to hr@kleng.ca. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a short structural design assessment.
KL Eng is also posting a Senior Structural Engineer / Project Manager role. Applicants will be considered for the level that best fits their experience.
