What the program covers

The program provides unlimited leisure-centre drop-in admission, one registered recreation program each year, Nutrien Playland ride tickets and single-use family passes to the Western Development Museum. Museum passes depend on supply.

Free child minding is available for children six and under at Lakewood Civic Centre, Shaw Centre and Saskatoon Field House while their parent or guardian participates in a facility activity. The program is for residents within Saskatoon; a nearby municipality address does not meet that requirement.

Documents, income limits and review

The published household income limits before tax run from $27,478 for one person to $72,715 for seven people. The complete table below shows every listed household size. Attach the previous year’s Canada Revenue Agency Notice of Assessment for each adult, plus a utility bill or government letter showing your current address.

There is no application deadline. The city sends confirmation after an online submission and normally emails a decision within three to six weeks. Paper applications are available at indoor leisure centres. Social Services recipients use a separate completed form from the office at 160 Second Avenue South.
