Joining the monthly plan

TIPPS is for paying the property tax bill in monthly instalments instead of one annual payment. The payment comes automatically from your deposit account. Ensure money is available on the first banking day of each month, even though bank processing can make the withdrawal appear later.

Applications are accepted throughout the year. Joining partway through the year does not remove amounts already due: tax arrears and missed instalments since January 1 must be paid when applying.

Application, changes and cancellation

Complete the TIPPS form and mark whether it is a new application or a change of information. Include a sample cheque marked void and any required initial payment. Forms can be mailed, faxed, scanned and emailed, or dropped off in person.

Give two weeks of written notice when cancelling, including when selling the property. Contact Corporate Revenue at 306-975-2400 if a payment change or sale is close to the next withdrawal. This guide explains the payment process, not tax assessment or appeal rights.
